Customizing Client Details and Branding in ark

This guide walks you through how to update client-level details and visual branding in ark. These settings help you control how the LP portal appears to end users, and where system emails come from.

Only Ark Client Admins can access and edit Client Configuration. To begin, click the Edit '[Client Name]' button on the dashboard after selecting a client.

Who Can Use This Feature

Only Ark Client Admin users can:

• Access and edit the Client Configuration settings

Step-by-Step: Updating Client Details and Branding

1. Access Client Configuration
   From the dashboard, click Edit '[Client Name]' to open the Client Configuration interface.

2. Update Client Details (under the Client Details tab):

   • Client Name: Display name in the portal

   • Subdomain: URL prefix used by LPs

   • Support Email: Email address used in system-generated emails

   • CC Email: Optional email copied on system mailings

3. Enable Send-From Addressing (optional):

   • To customize the From email address used in outgoing emails, refer to the full guide on Customizing the Send-From Email Addressbefore enabling this feature. Configuration is required to ensure successful delivery.

4. Add Branding Assets:

   • Client Logo: Used in reports and emails

   • Portal Logo: Displayed on the LP portal

   • Favicon: Browser icon for the LP portal

5. Customize Portal Colors:

   • Portal Primary and Secondary Colors: Define brand-aligned button and accent colors in the LP portal

   • Login Page Colors: Customize background and text colors for the login experience in the LP portal

6. Save Changes

   • Click Save & Continue to Transaction Mapping at the bottom of the page to confirm updates

• Use transparent PNGs for logos to ensure proper display

• Match login and portal colors to maintain brand consistency

• Use the "View Investor Portal" option on the client dashboard or "Impersonate" a contact to see how updates appear

Q: Can Basic Admins or Fund User Admins change these settings?
A: No. Only Ark Client Admins have access to Client Configuration.

Q: Will changing the subdomain affect login links?
A: Yes. Share the updated link with LPs if the subdomain is changed.

Q: Can I use the same logo across all portals?
A: Yes. The same image can be uploaded for use in multiple branding slots if desired.
