Customizing the Send-From Email Address

By default, emails from ark are sent via no-reply@arkpes.com. With this feature, you can configure a portal to send emails from a custom domain email address.

Who Can Use This Feature

Only Ark Client Admin users can request and configure a custom send-from email address. Setup typically involves coordination with your organization’s IT team.


Overview: Custom Send-From Address

When enabled, your ark portal can send emails from a verified custom email address or domain, improving brand consistency and deliverability.

Emails affected include:

  • Welcome emails

  • Capital call and distribution notifications

  • Password reset and forgot password emails

  • General mailings to investors and contacts

  • Secure document deliveries

Default behavior: Emails are sent from no-reply@arkpes.com.

Optional behavior: Emails can be sent from a designated group or personal email (e.g., investorrelations@yourdomain.com) once set up.


Step-by-Step: Requesting Send-From Email Setup

  1. Reach out to ark Support

    • Email support@arkpes.com to request send-from email customization for your client portal.

  2. Coordinate with your IT team

    • ark will provide DNS records that must be added to your domain’s DNS settings.

    • These changes authenticate your domain for use with ark email servers.

  3. Implementation and Propagation

    • Once DNS settings are updated, allow 24–48 hours for the changes to propagate.

    • ark Support will confirm when the setup is complete.
