Reports Overview

This guide walks you through how to use the Reports section in ark to monitor platform activity across contacts, investors, emails, documents, and logins. These tools are helpful for reconciliation, tracking changes, and managing audits.

Step-by-Step: Using the Reports Section

  1. Navigate to the Reports Section
    From the left-hand menu in the admin portal, select Reports.
  2. Select a Report to Run
    You can choose from multiple reports:
    • K-1 Accept/Decline Audit
      Track which contacts or investors accepted their K-1s and when.
    • Contact Record Audit
      Review edits to contact records. Includes:
        • Change date and type (created, updated, removed, etc.)
        • Field edited, old value, and new value
        • Username of the person who made the change
      • Investor Record Audit
        View changes to investor records with the same detailed format as the Contact Record Audit.
      • Login Audit
        See login attempts to the client portal. Includes:
        • Timestamp
        • Success/failure indicator
        • Reason for failure (e.g., incorrect password or email)
      • Contact Email Delivery Results Audit
        Review outgoing client emails such as:
        • Welcome messages

        • Password reset confirmations

        • Capital call and distribution notices


        Each email entry includes:
        • Timestamp (UTC-0)
        • Sender and recipient
        • Subject
        • Delivery status (success/failure)
      • Document Audit
        Track who viewed or downloaded which documents. Includes:
        • Timestamped access

        • Username

        • Number of page views, prints, searches, or text copies
