Before You Begin
Before generating a Schedule of Investments report:
- Investments must already exist within Portfolio Investments.
- Transactions and valuations should be recorded for accurate reporting.
- Users should know the reporting date and funds or assets they want to include.
What Is the Schedule of Investments?
The Schedule of Investments (SOI) provides a structured report of portfolio holdings across funds and assets.
It aggregates investment data from across the Portfolio Investments module, including:
- Assets
- Securities
- Holdings
- Investment Transactions
- Valuations
This report helps users review portfolio performance and investment exposure.
Common metrics displayed in the report include:
- Shares or units held
- Cost basis
- Fair Market Value
- Unrealized Gain/Loss
- IRR
- MOIC
- Commitment and funded amounts
Schedule of Investments Page
The Schedule of Investments page allows users to configure and generate investment reports.
Users select filters and settings before generating the report.
Key configuration options include:
Funds
Users select one or more funds to include in the report.
The filter supports both:
- Multi-entity selection
- Single-entity selection
When selecting multiple funds, all selected funds must be within the same currency.
Assets
Users can optionally limit the report to specific assets.
Mode
Users can choose between:
Unrealized
Displays current portfolio holdings that have not been realized.
Realized
Displays investments that have been fully exited or realized.
Intermediaries
Controls whether intermediary entities are included in the report.
Grouping
Users can customize how the report is structured by selecting grouping fields.
For example:
- Asset
- Security Name
- Fund
- Security Type
- Custom Portfolio Attributes
Multiple grouping levels can be applied and reordered.
As of Date
Defines the reporting date used for the report.
All investment values are calculated as of the selected date.
Step-by-Step: Generate a Schedule of Investments
Follow these steps to generate a Schedule of Investments report.
- Navigate to Portfolio Investments → Schedule of Investments.
- Select one or more Funds.
- (Optional) Select Assets to narrow the report.
- Choose the report Mode (Unrealized or Realized).
- Configure Grouping options as needed.
- Select the As of Date.
- Click Apply.
The system generates the report based on the selected configuration.
Filter and Configure the Report
Users can adjust report filters to refine the data displayed.
Common adjustments include:
- Adding or removing funds
- Filtering to specific assets
- Changing the reporting date
- Switching between realized and unrealized investments
After updating filters, users must click Apply to refresh the report.
Grouping Options

Asset
→ Security Name
or
Fund
→ Asset
→ Security Type
Grouping fields may include standard fields or configured Portfolio Attributes.
Users can drag and reorder grouping levels to customize the report layout.
Step-by-Step: Export the Schedule of Investments
Users can export the generated report for external analysis or reporting.
- Generate the report using the desired filters.
- Click Actions.
- Select Export as CSV.
The system generates a downloadable file containing the report data currently displayed.
